NIKOVA AND SANTORO IN THE IN THE SHOW “LAND ART RETURN TO THE ANCIENT”

In the natural monument of the Valle Fredda Park opening today at 11 at the Antonello Colonna Resort, the first “Land Art” show with the artists Mario Santoro and Velena Nikova. “Land Art” will be a series of seasonal shows to promote artists who, with forms and new languages, represent the complexity of the contemporary. Mario Santoro, lives and works between Italy, Germany, and the USA; in his works he reproduces monuments of ancient art, especially those with architectural references. Velena Nikova, Russian but Roman by adoption, has has also been a model for Valentino. In her work as painter and sculptor, she has shown at the Venice Biennale, evidence of the cultural and artistic transformations of contemporary Russia.
