MOBY DESTROYED – 25 JULY AT OPEN

MOBY “DESTROYED” TEMPORARY EXHIBITION AND PRESENTATION OF PHOTOGRAPHY BOOK

“Destroyed” is the title of MOBY’s new photography book and album, which the artist is presenting in Italy in a series of live concerts and shows at art galleries. On 25 July the artist will appear at Open Colonna to present his photography book at an exclusive, invitation-only event. Photographs from the book will be projected. The idea is of the Associazione Obiettivo 2013 (www.obiettivo2013.it) which, assisted in the artistic direction of the event by a team of professionals, has organized an exchange of culture and ideas for the Capital, dedicating the Open Colonna space to one of the most eclectic and brilliant artists of recent years. The evening will begin at 8 p.m. with an introduction by Umberto Marroni and a presentation of the book “Destroyed” by Moby together with the journalist Massimo Cotto. At 11 o’clock a video of Moby will be shown followed by a live acoustic performance. At 11.45 comes the djset of the LNRipley (in reduced version with Victor) + j.renault (china surprise). Moby, together with a restricted group of some 50 friends will enjoy a vegan menu (at the artist’s request) on the gourmet terrace of Open Colonna. Antonello Colonna, Franco Pepe (with his legendary pizza), Peppe Daddio (author of the recipes), and Marco Martini (who conceived the kebab of marinated vegetables, onion vinegar, and tomato mayonnaise) put their heads together to prove that that pleasure and creativity in the kitchen know no bounds.
